Have not eaten there, but just so that one knows Beelitz has a steakhouse which looks pretty good right at yet a very traffic loaded main road in Beelitz' center. Parking places are easy to find.Related to:

At junction Messedamm-Sued/Funkturm/Halenseestrasse/Nordkurve change onto A115/E51

For my understanding Brandenburg's Beelitz (what is known as Berlin’s vegetable garden) is the main/most famous asparagus-growing area of Germany. Its annual asparagus harvest runs from early April to mid-June.
The pic I took shows a just small part of the wild, open yet cultivated fields of local asparagus-farmers. You can see the asparagus' stems are green and function as leaves, while the leaves themselves are reduced to small scales. The tender shoots of asparagus are cut and eaten in spring.
Those local farmers/farms (like Bockwindmuehle Beelitz) invite visitors to asperagus sales and great asparagus made meals at their little farm-restaurant. Pls check out link below. Much fun for kids.
