Since we arrived there around the closing hour, we couldn't check out Studio Babelsberg but it does look interesting to take a tour around there. Studio Babelsberg is located in Potsdam-Babelsberg, and is the oldest large-scale film studio in the world. Founded in 1912, it covers an area of about 270,000 square feet (25,000 m2). Hundreds of films, including Fritz Lang's Metropolis and Josef von Sternberg's The Blue Angel were filmed there. In 2012 Studio Babelsberg will celebrate its 100th anniversary. Today, Studio Babelsberg remains operational mainly for feature film productions. Furthermore, it acts as co-producer on international high budget productions

Don't worry if you get lost in Potsdam - there is always a statue willing to point you in the right direction! This guy can be found in the gardens of the Orangerie and he is pointing in the direction of the Neues Palace.

With aim to improve the touristic set of the Sans Souci area you could be approached by somebody with papers and pen to get an interview.
Support them, it's a great idea !!! you have the choice to shape the evolution of the area.
If you do not do it please do not complain about anything later !

I'd love to have stayed for this, the Mr. & Miss Potsdam festival! Potsdam might seem like just a larger version of Versailles, but there is plenty to see in the town other than the Park Sanssouci.
