This beautiful restaurant is situated right on the Heiliger See in Berlin Vorstadt. We sat out on the terrace in the evening sunlight as the Villa has stunning views over the lakes and forests of Potsdam.
Check the website for all the menu details and wine list! Oh and it is absolutely necessary to pre-book as it is very very popular. The service is top knotch too!

We had dinner in a recently renovated 19th Century chicory mill that was used to make faux coffee in the 1800's. The restaurant is attached to the HOT (Hans Otto Theatre) and is therefore very popular with theatre-goers for after show dinners - it definitely became very very busy all of a sudden. There is a lovely outside terraced seating area with views over the Havel.

It's a rather small but nice place with a friendly waitress (which is the most seldom part in Germany). It's a families & kids welcoming place, there for it was very crowded so be ready for some nice-noisey-cosy happenings. The selection of food/buffett is simple but ok. It was not in Potsdam but in Berlin, close to Kreuzberg, that we ate the most delicious Greek food!Well, maybe the fact that it was served by a gorgeous young Greec man helped a little....not to mention the free ouze we got :-).
As I said: gorgeous servant!

Right within the Russian Colony of Potsdam you will find this small, cozy russian-themed restaurant in a wooden homestead with a wide range of menus, good service and very sensible prices. Highly recommended !

this elegant and beautiful restaurant is the best place to eat hearty food from brittany, the celtic northern part of france. the crepes are divine, and you can wash it all down with huge bowls of cidre (french apple wine). i was told that this was the only place in berlin and potsdam with decent crepes...

Just beside the Brandeburg gate you can find some this nice restaurant; step inside and don't be disappointed, interiors are not impressive but fish is really great !!!
Take a sit beside any windows and look outside while dining, you'll enjoy the not so crowded environment.
My blond's one was Soljanka, a soup born in the eastern europe. I preferred a classical "Kapitansteller", a selction of grilled fish.
