It's a nice restaurant that sits in Bad Soden's pedestrian zone. While dining outside, tables provided across the restaurant's front door where it's quiet, free of cars, free of noise, and traffic's smell. Good place for having smaller kids with you when dining out. Restaurant looks pretty German yet cuisine (and owners) seem to be greek. Nice place, very friendly service, average tasting food. Had salad & soup. Mineralwater.
The cafe and restaurant S-Bar seemed to be very crowded in the evening. We yet have been there noonish on some beautifully sunny day. The place then was nothing but very nice, and neat with tables outside, surrounded by other little nice cafes, lovely stores, plants, banks, a playground area for kids, no traffic. Just beautiful. And so was their food & flair, pretty Italian like. Had Mozzarella with tomatos & basil. Fresh and yummy. All good! Cafe latte & cream. Attractive and friendly waitresses.
It's a small Italian ice cafe that offers yummy ice cream, I yet haven't tried, but peppermint tea from their hot tea selection. Nice too. However, their menu of ice creams does look great. Very friendly and attentive waiters. Nicely located in Bad Soden's center near train station. The one big minus no extra spot for non-smokers.
I visited this place last night with some friends and the food was terrible. The main dishes arrived just several minutes after the starter which, of course, was too soon. The waiter took this back and brought it 10 minutes later. The pasta was dry, cold, not-fresh and by not fresh I mean it had no taste and the texture was like pasta that had been bulk cooked the night before and then re-heated - more like boil in the bad without the boil. After not eating the main meal and pointing out the faults, the waiter simply said this was 'a shame'. (no apology .- no care). Then when wanting to pay, they did not accept any credit cards. At this point we complained that this was really not good enough, first that the food was so bad, that we had no apology and then not being able to use a credit card to pay for the meal. This particular waiter said that we didn't need to come to this restaurant. ! can you believe it. ? I strongly recommend to avoid this place unless you want to be seriously disappointed.
Surrounded by threes, the Landgasthof Rote Muhle offers a variety of German typical food.
Its Menu also features a couple some different dishes such as the Mexican "Chili con Carne".
Prices for the "specials of the day" range from €6.8 to €11.8 euros and entrees from the regular menu are €8.5 to €14.50 euros.
There's a large al fresco dining area and I've also noticed this place is very popular for couples or groups with kids since a kids playground is located on the property nearby the restaurant.
Passed that place a couples of times without having any chance or time to check out that Check Inn place yet it's very nice located in front of the Old Spa Park & pedestrian zone.
