Very nice, clean, well-structered mall partly outdoors where at customers can buy big plants, flowers, flowers, and more flowers, then many sorts of fresh fruits and vegetables, goodies from the bakery shop inside, then anything deco & furniture, and on and on. Their cafe is small but lovely. Convenient to park there und load up the items bought.
Nord-West-Mall (Nord West Zentrum) was founded in 1968 as a multifunctional center for locals. It resides right in Heddernheim town and has its own subway station and many bus stations as well. Back when gf and me lived there in northern Frankfurt, we made it to the mall mostly for groceries. Every time we went there, we did it by bicycle only. The mall back then was a cute, little mall with a dozen or so of outdoor shops. Nowadays the mall has expanded quite a bit, and has its about 150 stores set under roof. Looks lovely and lightful yet. Many social, medical and other institutions are placed in that mall as well.
