The Wilhelmsturm (Tower of William) was constructed from 1872 till 1875. It's a building in honor of Wilhelm I von Oranien, who was born at Dillenburg in 1533.
Nowadays there's a small museum on the ground floor with many historic items of the House of Nassau and theHouse of Oranien-Nassau.
From the tower you have a great lookoff onto Dillenburg.

While I walk and half-listen to the guide, I look out for details I like to photograph.
Fondest memory: Dillenburg housed army officers and the long street we walked through were all former offices and quarters.
Somehow I like and dislike guided tours. It's the standing about and having to pay attention is what does me in.
On the other hand, one learns a lot!
