At the lower end of Fahrgasse, you will find the ruins of Hayn Castle. The earliest parts of the castle were built roughly in 1100, but there's hardly anything left of these. Instead, there are newer parts like the ruins of the tower and a fire place. Next to the castle are two more locally interesting things:
1. Ludwig-Erk-Brunnen - a fountain commemorating the local poet Ludwig Erk (although I must admit that it's a very ugly fountain)
2. a lake that has turned green from too many algae - but since this year with several Nile geese that are usually not common in this area

Dreieich-Dreieichenhain has a very nice and picturesque centre with numerous half-timbered houses and some remains of the city walls. It is advisable to enter the centre from the upper part of Fahrgasse as you will then walk through the gate which is well-kept and very beautiful. Walking down Fahrgasse, you will see a lot of the half-timbered houses, some displaying a plaque when they were erected. If you leave Fahrgasse to the left or right, you will soon come across the city walls remains. Unfortunately, there is not much left so all you will see are some old stones...

Cafe Cult sits right in Dreieich's old town, near by the town's beautiful castle which does rise nostalgically from the old town's center. Cafe Cult provids with very nice service, and selection of cakes, pastries, little snacks, and ice cream. It's a cosy, lovely cafe with a few outdoor tables where at gfs and me had taken seats for breakfast. If one chooses place on their little terrace, it's less calm as their outdoor places are along the little road of old town's center.
Pls take also a look at King_Golo's Dreieich page.

I think your truck is sexy, you however will enjoy your time riding by bus as any of Dreieich's roads are tiny-tiny.
