We had a nice tasting nut cake, hot apple pie & cream, ice cream, coffee, coke. Over all a nice cafe with a nice selection of cakes & cookies, and nice outdoor seats right at the foot of the Eppstein Castle. A calm and modest cafe yet service wasn't that great as I even had no spoon to my cake, and no tissues. Tissues that's another thing when it comes to the things Germany is lacking of: dining places often give not enough (if any) tissues.
The restaurant Pflasterschisser is found in the oldes known house in Eppstein and that area. It's a nice half-timbered house that was built 1459. The main restaurant is in the first floor, while there are also other rooms in the ground floor (I guess that's the smoking area).
The restaurant offers mainly German dishes with some Turkish influence. We had a Hacksteak (minced meat steak) filled with feta cheese which was really good.
The restaurant is open daily except Wednesday from 11:00 to 14:30 and 18:00 to 24:00.
