Favorite thing: Kassel is the home of Documenta Exhibition, an ideal city for art-lovers. This exhibition is held every five years, the next one will be in 2007.
Athena was only one of the (copies) statues of an exhibition about ancient greek and roman antiquities, which had been taken place in Documenta Hall.

Iraklis

Favorite thing: This 7 m tall statue is the symbol of the city, an impressive landmark visible even from the city borders.
Hercules stands on his pyramid and observes the city, the view from there can be seen on the intro. There are cascades near it.

Favorite thing: It houses the Astronomy and Technology History Museum with Planetarium (Karlsaue 20c). It is an interesting place, even if you are not a fan of astronomy or science. This small statue is a miniature of Hercules monument.

Favorite thing: Wilhelmshohe is Europe's biggest mountain park, with castle Lowenburg too. This park is a unique composition of architectural creations, art and, basicly, nature in a perfect harmony. Don't you calm by such a picture?

Favorite thing: Go and check out the 'Herkules'

Fondest memory: When I was little I was always fascinated with this monument. I don't know what it was, I just had to keep looking for it while I was strolling through the streets of Kassel. I think I really liked it because you could see it way up there above the city and it was humongous!

Favorite thing: Its very easy to reach Kassel. Its between Hannover and Frankfurt, meanwhile exactly in the middle of Germany at the Autobahn A7.

This is the 'Orangerie' in the park 'Karlsaue'. I lived at one sinde of the park, on the other side was my school (Herderschule). That was great.
