From the cable car you have a great look over the vineyards below, leading from the town all the way up to the Nierburg denkmal
One way you can get to the top of the Niederwald Monument is by cabin cable car. From the cable car you have a fantastic view over the wine growing town of Rüdesheim am Rhine.
There are so many lovely buildings, it is difficult to choose any one of them as the most outstanding one for me
There are some really nice balconys and windows in the center of Rudesheim. This in the photograph has a great wooden work.
After the short tour we headed to the wine shop, tasted a few and bought the rest (just kidding)
I had to wait a while before taking this picture because there was always someone on the way.

The entire area is famous for its wine. You can taste some wine one of the wine shops or go to one of the wineries. And, you can visit the wine museum, shown here.
Just to give you an impression of this rare way....passing under the house. On the other side passes the "Löhrstrasse", the oldest alley of the town.
