Just to give you an impression of this rare way....passing under the house. On the other side passes the "Löhrstrasse", the oldest alley of the town.
It was a fantastic experience to walk through the little side streets and finding hidden treasures in the shops and restaurants with their umpha bands. I felt like staying there forever
Marktstrasse leads into the market square where the Annual Rudesheimer Wine Festival takes place every August.
Visit this little winery and taste their produce. They treated me and my husband very well and we had a good time hear.
There are so many lovely buildings, it is difficult to choose any one of them as the most outstanding one for me
One way you can get to the top of the Niederwald Monument is by cabin cable car. From the cable car you have a fantastic view over the wine growing town of Rüdesheim am Rhine.
From the cable car you have a great look over the vineyards below, leading from the town all the way up to the Nierburg denkmal
I had to wait a while before taking this picture because there was always someone on the way.
It was worth the wait for this photo of the huge dormitory.
After the short tour we headed to the wine shop, tasted a few and bought the rest (just kidding)
