    Very Safe

by antistar Updated Oct 22, 2013

    2.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

It might have been because I visited on Good Friday, but the streets were empty of even the most modest troublemakers. The vast majority of the citizens of Wiesbaden were immaculately turned out, and I would think you are more likely to be run over by one of the many sports cars that clog the roads, than beaten up or mugged. At a guess I'd imagine the biggest crime problem in Wiesbaden is corporate embezzlement.

Having said that, people were brazenly jaywalking on a red light right under the noses of the police at the central police offices. What is Germany coming to! :)

    Parking Garages

by jasonlammons Written Jan 22, 2007

Not all Parking Garages stay open all night!! If you go out early make sure you parl in an all - night Parking Garage or you get your vehicle before midnight! I found this ou the hard way, but if you get to the garage in the morning before 9 (like around 8am) you only pay 5 euro, any later and I think it's more like 25 euro!!!

Smelly and warm ... well, not really a warning but if u r not a SPA fan this fountain will hurt your nose ... they say it's great in winter when, due to cold weather, lot of steam is around it ...
