leffe3 Says: So the main point of Prerow is the beach - and it seems to go on for miles. Undeveloped, mainly, a complete get away spot. But its the Baltic - not sure you'd get me in there in the height of summer - never mind December!

leffe3 Says: This was closed when we were there (between Xmas and New Year) so well out of season - so can't really say much about it - except the style is of architecture is great and very typical.
sabsi Says: In Prerow there is a long wide white beach at the Baltic sea. It's beautiful. On one side of the beach there's the sea, on the other side there are the typical wild forests of the Darß peninsula.I read somewhere that Prerow's beach is Germany's most beautiful beach.
sabsi Says: At the beach in Prerow there is a pier where all the fishermen meet. We walked out on the pier as well only to go back to the beach rather quickly because it was freezing cold in the wind. I bet it's a lovely place to sit in the summer though!
