Knoto Says: When you visit Bockenem,please go to Störy(a little village 4 km away from here) and visit the Museum for Small cars!! You find there cars like the Goggo,BMW Isetta,Messerschmidt-Kabinenroller,a lot of old motorcycles and bikes....It's the WORLD LARGEST MUSEUM WITH STUFF...

Knoto Says: These session is over and the soldiers are ready to go back to there camp. They must eat and drink a little bit, I think.
Knoto Says: Every two hours the soldiers leave her camp, walk a little bit around town and started to shoot a little bit with the old muskets and sometimes with the canon.It`s interesting, but also very loud.

The best way to come in this region is use the Airport of Hannover and than go by car or motorbike to the Motorway Number 7,drive this motorway in southern direction and after an half Hour of driving you will find the Exit to Bockenem!!!
In these area you can walk or if you want visit the small villages around use your car or bike.

Every Year the reserve of the German Soldiers(Group from Lower Saxony) makes a "Special day" , where you can see a little bit from there working.
This year the day day was here in Bockenem.

These litlle park called "Knochenpark" and its located at the street Am alten Friedhof in the near of a school.
And our local Alcoholics use these park as a meeting and drinking point all year long.
So be aware in these area. Sometimes they grumble the people who are walking around.
But if you have problems with these people, the local police station is just one minute away.

If you like to go swim, Bockenem offered a wonderful open air swimming pool.
You also can relax on the surrounding area, or play beach Volley-ball. A lovely playground for the kids is also here in the back.
