Favorite thing: Visit the historic Rathaus...there is a great restaurant beneath the Rat Haus which is also worthy of a visit...There is a tourist office in the Rathaus and also occasionally special exhibits etc

Favorite thing: If you want to shop till you drop, go to kassel! in goettingen you will not find anything interesting nor arround the city! just lot of green!
