Hildesheim

The pedestrianised zone of Hildesheim has heaps of nice shops and cafes that can keep you entertained if you need a break from sightseeing. There were a number of larger chainsbut I saw many a bargain as I cruised the streets.

I particularly remember a store on the right hand side just as you cross the road leaving the hauptbahnhof that was a good quality variety store at very reasonable prices. Sorry I forget the name but it was quite big so you probably wont miss it.
