Taking the ferry to the island and back, is of course the cheapest way to go.
If I am not mistaken, the roundtrip is €28,00.

Even though the island is quite small, you don't want to walk to or from the airport from the central village as the airport is located a few kilometers away.
There are no taxis available (remember: there are no cars on the island) but you can take a carriage. They are everywhere in the village and you can make arrangements beforehand about where and when you want to be picked up to get to the airport.
When we took the plane to Juist, a carriage was already waiting for us at the airport.

The trip village - airport costs € 8,00 per person.

You can get to the island of Juist either by ferry or by plane. Planes and boats both leave from Norddeich and are operated by 'Frisia'.
If you are planning a trip to Juist by ferry, you will have to check the schedule of the boats carefully because due to the tide the ships leave at different times.
When we went to Juist we used a 'Kombi-Ticket', a combination of ferry and plane. We flew to Juist in the morning and left the island with the ferry the next day in the evening. It worked very well and cost only € 45,00 per person.

As there were no bikes left that we could rent, we ended up walking quite a lot -at the beach, in the forest and in the village.
Just make sure you bring the right shoes, otherwise you are bound to have blisters in the evening.

I found this little piece of art somewhere near the beach and thought it was just fitting so well to the wonderful sunny day at this beautiful spot.
