    main station

    main station front

Favorite thing: Osnabrück´s railway station has a speciality: it has two levels. There is a railway cross in the station, on the first ground the main direction is east - west, on the second ground it´s north - south. I think it´s the only main station in Germany with this kind of construction. A few years ago the main hall has been renovated, there are several little stores and bistros.
Next to the station place is a big Cinemaxx, a casino and near by a good hotel.

Fondest memory: Playing Lego with my friends from midnight until 4:30 in the morning! The sound of searching for a certain piece in a whole box full of Lego (the biggest collection I've ever seen) brought back many great memories... And we built new ones!!

Favorite thing: The museum Varusschlacht at Kalkriese is one of the best museums I have ever seen. Before going there I wasn't really interested in Roman history but this place thrilled me! It was pretty easy to imagine what the battle was like and it was exciting to see how people proved that this was the place where the battle took place! I could go there again already...
