Large Italian restaurant with focus on pizza, pasta and tarte flambée. Vegetable, meat and fish dishes are only available on the day menu which has something different every day. Good choice of wines. Inside and outside, you will find small olive trees. The place seems to be popular to have a coffee or a glass of wine only as well. The place reminds a little of Vapiano – without being a chain restaurant.
Had the Ravioli Ricotta e Spinaci which I can definitively recommend. I was surprised to see such a surprisingly good and large place in a small city like Wolfenbuettel.
This is a nice restaurant and pub in a great position in the Stadtmarkt. You can enjoy a beer outside in summer and order from the cheaper outdoor menu or dine in the restaurant upstairs. The Asian food has a distinct German feel about it... you will probably recieve a side of cabbage flavoured with weak curry which is pretty typical of wherever you go in Germany but not exactly Asian!!
Food not too bad at all at fairly reasonable prices. Just keep in mind that when the menu says the dsh is 'scharf' (hot) this is hardly ever the case in Germany and is actually incredibly mild. Also good that there is a bar downstairs so you can kick on if you want to.
Favorite Dish: Hmmmm.... I have been here a number of times and I have to say that I quite enjoy their noodle dishes.
