From/To Wolfenbuettel by train
Wolfenbuettel is located off larger railway lines and is usually only served four times and hour. All of these trains are regional ones and can therefore be used with regional special offer tickets (like Niedersachsen- or Quer Durchs Land - tickets). The most vital link is the one to Braunschweig (two trains per hour) where you will find connections to Hanover, Berlin, Wolfsburg, Magdeburg and beyond. A train ride between Braunschweig and Wolfenbuettel takes only nine minutes. The other two trains per hour travel southwards to Bad Harzburg, Goslar or Schoeppenstedt. Check out the site of Deutsche Bahn for train times.
Alternatively (if you have missed the last train for example...), some parts of Braunschweig are linked to Wolfenbuettel via bus.
