This historical old brewery in a barn-like building right in the middle of Fallersleben is undoubtedly my favourite WOB haunt. Lovely atmosphere since you sit in a brewery in an old farmhouse. There is space for lots of people but it still feels like you know them all.
NOTE THAT THE BREWERY WAS SEVERELY DAMAGED IN A FIRE IN SUMMER 2007. IT WILL BE RE-BUILT BUT THE DATE FOR REOPENING IS NOT CERTAIN YET. I hope it will manage to re-create some of its atmosphere.
Favorite Dish: The beer they brew is of course a favourite as is the freshly baked bretzels but they also do typical German fare.

Located in the ZeitHaus museum, the Cylinder pays homage to the "American way of life." As you down a Cylinder burger or tortillas, you feel you've been transported back to the fifties in a vintage Airstream trailor. The interior is dynamically shaped, the steps replaced by ramps, for, in the opinion of Chicago designer Jorden Moser, steps have no place in the world of the automobile. Everything is rounded in this diner for the discerning taste.

The restaurant Pizza AMano is a family restaurant in the finest sense of the word. Here children are invited to create their own pizzas.
The restaurant relies to a large extent on organically grown products and quality is the buzzword. The Pizza AMano emphasises ‘fresh from the field’.

VW produces its own Ketchup for this legendary - self produced - Currywurst. VW workers have been eaten this currywurst for years... here they serve it with a different real tomato sauce, not with the traditional VW Ketchup like in the canteen and in other places within the Autostadt...
Favorite Dish: VW's original traditional legendary Currywurst in a fancier way and a milk shake. If you don't like the Currywurst - the Club Sandwich is nice as well!

Tachometer is a self service restaurant in the place where you can pick up your new car (if you ordered one). It's called 'Kundencenter'.
Favorite Dish: Here you can get the original VW Currywurst and here you can buy the original VW Ketchup! The rest of the stuff is Mövenpick standard!
