Underneath this pub runs the Roman canal from the volcanic Eiffel, to the city of Cologne. Here, you can admire a well that leads down to the canal, as well as enjoy a good yaegerschnitzel and a nice cool glass of Koelsh!

Buschhoven is home to the "Rosa Mystica" - a weeping statue of the Virgin Mary that is surrounded by mysterious legend of a local prince who found it in the woods and attempted to bring to his castle, but the next day it disappeared back into the woods again. It became a place of pilgrammage and the festival of the Rosa Mystica, where 12 young virgins carry the weeping statue through this town throwing rose-petals still occurs every Spring.
