    Früh am Dom

by eranda Written Jun 19, 2005

This place Situated a stone's throw from the Dom and Hohe Straße, Früh am Dom is a real organization that be a focus for both tourists and the country visitors . The 'Früh' is to Cologne what the Hofbräuhaus is to Munich, except of course, they serve the beer in much smaller glasses! As well as they are serving up freshly-brewed Kölsch beer, they also have a fabulus menu for the visitors too,,,,there is a carte du jour which contains a fine assortment of local and countrywide specialty.

    Aachener Weiher

by eranda Written Jun 19, 2005

This garden area is most fantastic and unforgettable green area, which can seem a bit like holiday campsites on hot summer weekends. One of the most popular is Aachener Weiher, set in a park not far from the center of town.

This location makes it a great place to take a break and cool off with a glass of Kölsch beer. The people who are working the pub, serve the reqired food, or snak , slad as you preferred,

Snacks like sausages and salad are also served. If you manage to stay sober, the nearby Museum of East Asian Art is also worth a visit.

    Walking Tour of Central Cologne

by cvsolfari Written Feb 26, 2003

If you have the chance to spend a few days in Cologne, like most cities, it's worth it to go for a walking tour around the central city area. Although Cologne suffered much damage in WWII, there are many landmarks that were rebuilt and therefore offer points of interest around town.

    Talking to the statues

by myrtle Written Dec 12, 2003

We found these statues in a small square over in the corner. I knew hanging out with them would make for a great picture. I'm sorry to say I can't remember their significance, but it sure was fun talking to them.
