Been here twice for Apfelstrudel already. It's nice to sit in here for a cake with warm custard when outside it's freezing cold. I like the old atmosphere. Service was very bad the first time I visited but the 2nd time - during the VT meeting - it was ok.

Ok, you might have read about this coffee place on VT before... maybe because it was the first great stop of the meeting in February? But you can be glad to read this tip as well. Because! I'm the only one who ate waffles. With hot cherries and cream. And they were fantastic!!!
Lovely old fashioned, museum style interior. Like turning grandma's living room into a restaurant.

In summer certainly a nice place, but in winter this pancake restaurant was like a deep freeze, a heater in winter certainly was missing. Yet the black beer was a delight and tasted great and what I could see that the pancakes were diverse, massive and a culinary delight.
Watch out since the entrance is towards the right off the main building, a little tricky to find.

The old customs house of Zons has been carefully renovated to host a restaurant on two floors. The upper floor overlooks the old town centre and the Rhine River.
We only had drinks and apple strudel here. My beer which was a Beer and Champagne mix was very different but good!

We sat in the garden right beside the high Rheinturm, and were having some great desserts. My friend Bea decided on a hot waffle with hot cherries and vanille ice cream, my friend Oli had an ice chocolate and I had......
