What else in Dortmund, besides work?
Well I had the luck of a pleasant night in the park, with a musical show in the beautiful stage by the lake.
It's very interesting, watching the performance and feeling the touch of nature all around you. I don't know where to find the scheduling of the performances, and, if it is available anywhere it will be in... German, which means... useless to me.

Behind the railway station in Dortmund you will find the Cine Star film palace which houses several cinema halls. The draw back is that all the film are dubbed into German. Still I watched the last two James Bonds there.

Sweet Jesus, if your thinking of going to Dortmund for a lads w/e think again, apart from watching some prety entertaining football this w/e (2-4 to Wolfsberg), we really struggled to find anything to do. We had a great w/e but there are far better cities in Germany to go than Dortmund, give it a wide berth. Godspeed

Like a party in your best friend's living room. Not to much clubs that have this atmosphere. Good electronic beats at the weekends (don't go before 12 o'clock) and a very very friendly jam-session every wednesday (9pm to 3am) with Ibrahim doing the percussions!
Dress Code: never seen anyone thrown out, but don't try it half-naked

A huge bar/restaurant with friendly waitresses and great food (a huge variety of mexican stuff as well as burgers, sandwiches etc). Sat here for hours when outside it was pouring rain. Very nice.
