Favorite thing: If you would like to know where to go for a good party, a nice restaurant, a concert, an exhibition or what's played in the theatre of Düsseldorf, buy the latest PRINZ. In this magazine you find nearly everything for a nice day or evening. Issues are also offerd for following cities/ ares: Berlin, Bremen, Cologne, Dresden, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Hannover, Munich, Nürnberg, Ruhrgebiet, Stuttgart

Also Überblick is a city magazine which can be quite interesting for you. There are special editions like "Düsseldorf geht aus" in which you find for example the categories pubs, restaurants, clubs, discos, breakfast, Biergärten etc. and "Düsseldorf kauft ein" in which every kind of shops are described.

Fondest memory: Here's the link to the Düsseldorf page of PRINZ:
and the one of the Überblick:

Favorite thing: Düsseldorf is the business centre of this region. It is a classic German business and historical city. What ever you can find in Germany, I guess you can find it also in Dusseldorf

    Check the city site:

Favorite thing: In Düsseldorf you shouldnt miss the confisserie HEINEMANN. Enter the cafe and get one of the best cakes in the city.
Take for example the Schwedenapfel (swedish apple) or anything else.

The interior of the cafe is debatale, but the cakes not.

For US people, they do provide a 24 hour delivery service for some specific items.

    Fondest memory: Taste and feel!

    hmm, better take 2-3 pieces

Favorite thing: There’s a series of small paperbacks on different aspects of Düsseldorf – walking tours of the city, breweries, museums, and a few other things. They were available in the bookstores in the train station and airport, although I only saw them in German. Die Düsseldorfer City had some good basic information about the old town and a couple of other places within walking distance. Not comprehensive, but a good overview.
