The oldest Irish Pub in NRW, 3rd in Germany! Cool people, good beer (said to have the "best Guinness" south of Dublin"...), sports on TV, the biggest (??) sports scarf collection. Perhaps the friendliest, certainly the cutest waitresses in town!!!!

    O'Reilly's

The latest addition to Düsseldorf's Irish pubs is O'Reilly's at the square in front of the town hall. O'Reilly's is a chain of Irish pubs all over Europe (eg. Amsterdam, Brussels, Heidelberg) but nevertheless it's a very nice place (I am normally not a big fan of chain pubs of all kinds!).

I've been here quite a few times recently because the location is nice to
    a) sit outside
    b) watch sports on the big screen
    c) have a nice meal.

The chips here are to die for! Thin cut but with the potato peel. Luvely :-)

This is an Irish Pub called the Tir na nog (?), at Alstad. The service was good and the Guiness was fantastic.

Düsseldorf is a beer trap! It is easy to over do it...as can be seen from our conduct....

We come here from time to time for (quite) a few Guinnesses and the usual Sambuca. Sutton's is a great place, always busy. Many native English speakers.

They don't serve food here but you are allowed to go to the Pizza joint or McDonalds next door and bring your food inside!

  • Tir na Nog: The best Guinness and a singing barman

A nice Irish bar in the old town. Had a few lovely pints of Guinness here (unfortunately not exactly cheap) and I loved listening to the singing barman...

This is more like a tourist Irish pub, anyway. I saw many large groups of fair visitors here. Locals seem to prefer Sutton's bar....
