The German weather is always good for surprises. It can be very cold and rainy in the summertime but it's also possible that you can wear t-shirt and shorts in April or May. So don't forget your umbrella and at least one warm pullover and one pair of long trousers (or buy it in Germany in case you need it). Leave a Comment

Weather can vary a great deal. In summer it's usually warm, even if it rains. I just used T-shirts the whole trip (all with sleeves, sorry Sabs :-P). You might want an umbrella or waterproof top though.
Nothing special - you can buy anything you need here.
Nothing special again. I used my Fuji digital camera and it did a more than adequate job.

Layers are necessary especially in winter. Being on the Rhine makes Düsseldorf a damp and often cold place.
Wide angle makes for fun if distorted pub shots and the zoom is great for taking sneaky photos of friends.
