Real?: Things you can't get at home...
It's a large supermarket, tucked away down a street in the Blik area of the city.
What to buy: Electro Puzzi.
The miracle cleaner for solid-ring style electric cookers! We just can't find this at home anymore, but they had it hear. We almost boght the shop!
We bought all the gear for the "German Breakfast II" here too, at quite a reasonable price, and a bottle of Cachaca to take home to make caipirinhas with :-))
What to pay: 1.7 euro per tube for the electro puzzi, 6 euro for the Cachaca and the rest... who knows.
Dusseldorf Centre: Shopping Paradise...
Dusseldorf is a bit of a "posh" place, and fairly wealthy. As a result it has some great shops and some really big names - Prada, Gucci & Louis Vuitton to name but a few. There are other good shops in the city centre too, selling almost anything that you could want. And cafes, bars and restaurants too, for when you start to flag a little.
What to buy: What do you want? Every type of shop is represented here.
