This very modern architecture is just a short walk from the Rhine Tower. Judging by the apparent lack of occupancy, these offices/appartments are not to everyone's taste - but in my opinion they are really quite fabulous and definitely well worth a look if you are visiting this city - a wonderful 21st century landmark on the Rhine.

I really love this very modern architecture in the Medienhafen area of Duesseldorf. I am reliably informed that this shiny outer covering is actually the same metal that is used in aircraft production.
The Gehry buildings down at the Media Port on the Rhine. These are quite stunning, especially in the right light. Towards sunset seems to be a very good time to me.
There are three buildings - one in brick, one in "white" and one in Titanium. The titanium one is most people's favourite because of its reflectiveness.
These funny buildings from the famous architect Gehry are one of the main attractions in the area around the Medienhafen, Duesseldorfs most modern part.
This is the middle one of the three Gehry biuldings at the habor. It's home to an advertisement agency, by the way.
South of the Altstadt, in the suburb Hafen (habor) three interestig modern buildings were constructed in 1998/99 by the famous architect Gehry (USA)
