The Koenigsstrasse is the most preferred shopping boulevard of Duisburg. From the train terminal it stretches through the entire city with a large pedestrian zone.
With the beautiful trees lining the pedestrian area there is plenty of shadow during hot summer days.
The name Koenigsstrasse was chosen in memory of the Prussian King Friedrich Wilhelm IV.
What to buy: Any kind of goods depending on the shops, of course also nice restaurants and coffee-shops or ice-cream parlors.
What to pay: From 1,00 EUR for a beer to thousands of Euros for cars or jewelries
