Euskirchen Travel Guide

Because there is not really much to do or see in Euskirchen I recommend trying to get away. Cologne or Bonn are just about 30-45 minutes train journey away. Or get the bus to Bad Münstereifel a nice German Spa town.

Favorite thing: Really there's not much in Euskirchen, except bars...favorite place...The Hop..not just because my mother in law owns it, but we spent several evenings there, and a nice place to meet some real locals! We also wasthced the parade from the pub...great!!!

Fondest memory: Being able to walk everywhere! Europe is really great, mass transporation!!!! And well the Autobahn! There's not much to do in Euskirchen, but Bonn and Aachen are close by, but everyone is so nice! But have to eat at the Rialto (Superb Italian food) and the Balkan. Fondest memory would have to be the peolpe and the way of life is just so different..laid back...we really got to know some of the locals...unlike America, people take their time and have much pride in their work.
