Why not go for a ride on a horse-drawn wagon in summer or a sleigh in winter? This must be the best way ever explore the surroundings. The wagons and sleighs are quite big and can accommodate around 10 people, so it’s ideal for a group outing.

Hesborn IS off the beaten path, so you will not have to go to any great lengths to avoid the tourist masses. You might meet some people on the main pathways up to the Bollerberg, but if you go for a longer walk from there you will hardly meet a soul anymore.
