Horn has a nice town centre with many houses from the 16th to 18th century. If you want to see the main sights of Horn, you can follow the “Hörnchen” – yellow post horns that were painted on the ground. There are 100 of them and I guess especially kids will have fun to...

Stroll along pedestrian zone
MD2nd Says:
Bad Meinberg's small pedestrian zone right at the Kurpark, is definitively a very small one with only a few of shopping options and no grocery store yet with many lovely cafes. The pedestrian zone's closeness to the Kurpark makes a stroll there very pleasant. I definitively...
Relaxation at Bad Meinberg's Kurpark

Bad Meinberg's Kurpark is kept natural, it's not fancy-modern but modest and very lovely too. This spa town is famous for its treatments by moor mud baths. In 1820 visitors and patients have gotten the first treatments with moor mud baths. Then 1903 was the announcment done...

There I've had asparagus salad for the first time. Never ate cold served asparagus with fruits and vegetable before. I do have to say it was very delicious. However nothing can beat the regular made, buttered asparagus with ham when it comes to asparagus season. Restaurant's...

Cafe Buschmann: Cosy and close to Kurpark
MD2nd Says:
Cosy cafe that sits right at the Kurpark and on the beginning of pedestrian zone. Close by is as well the catholic church. Cafe's coffee tastes great as it's not that over-over bitterly-strong like many German cafes do serve it. Folks and service there are very friendly and...

A33 up Paderborn, then exit 26 Paderborn. Then direction Hameln/Bad Lippspringe/Detmold, then onto B1, then next onto B239. Directions are neither easy to give nor to find. When you after all did find the town of Bad Meinberg you might look for Brunnenstrasse at the very beginning of Bad Meinberg as there is a very comfortable (free) parking lot. Right beside is also entry to the one side of Kurpark.
