There is very nice church here, it is in the middle of the city, usually I just take a quick look and continue, but this time I had more time on my hands so...

...with the exception that the church was open and free for visitors, I had the chance to see also from the inside and I took few nice photos...

We did not hike far enough to get a better view of the Marina. There were few trails. The hiking was quite an adventure! The Fisherman had a nice catch for the day. He was a very friendly man who we visited with for sometime. He said that there were stories of sunken villages in the Lake bottom. I asked him what he thought of these stories. He said that they had not been proven...yet!

this is the Landstrasse bridge that goes over Lake Biggasee. I was intrigued by the older bridges in NRW. They are so different from those here in the US. The Fisherman told me that there were fresh water Mussels on this bridge.

You can get here by car or train, the autobahn is not very far from here and the train station is as usual just in the centre of the city.

I did travel to Lake Biggasee via Motorcycle. This was my preffered mode of transportation throughout my Travels in all of NRW Germany.

Biggasee Lake is right next to the Landstrasse. There are several parking areas and marina.

Favorite thing: I just passed here in this very average German town, actually I think it is one of the greyish towns I visited in this area.
