Bayarena is home of Bayer 04 Leverkusen German football 1. division club.Todays capacity is 22500 but threw 2008 and 2009 the stadium will be extended up to 30000.Inside the stadium are hotel, restaurants and other facilities.
Check Bayer's 'W1' building and surrounding park.
This is the biggest office building in Leverkusen and is currently the headquarters of the famous chemical company.
In 1999, to celebrate the 100th aniversary of Aspirin, the building was 'dressed up' like a giant aspirine package. Quite an impressive sight!... :)
The Bayer park, in front of the W1, is a great place to walk around. It's big, full of nice and quiet places and ideal to walk if you manage to catch one of Leverkusen's hot days (and believe me, when they're hot, they're hot...).
