We don't have an awful lot of these in the Netherlands, and none as far as I know in my own hometown, so it's always a pleasure to admire a timbered house in Germany, Austria &c ...

The Atmosphere is decent. The place is a bit crowded sometimes, but the service and food is good. The prices are moderate. And if you like Fish, you´ll certainly be satisfied by the selection.

    Favorite Dish: Fish Fish Fish.

It´s the crowd / the scene. People who enjoy modern music and Rock. All ages between 15 and 50. And the special day to go there is Thursday. It has the smokey atmosphere of a jazzbar.

When drinking alt- beer in a pub/bar, the bartender will continue to replace your empty glasses by full ones until you´ve paid. He doesn´t ask if you´d like some more, he usualy just does it. So if you´ve had enough pay the bill, or put the cardboard-undertheglass-thing onto your glass. This rule only aplies to beer within or around Duesseldorf.
The average tip is 10%, and please do tip!

The Bits ´n Bites (Bytes) is way to expensive, has no mice but integrated touchpanels in the keyboard, and no service at all.

Unique Suggestions: Bring your own mouse *g*

Fun Alternatives: Hm... if you live there, or know someone who lives there, get a library-pass. It cost´s aprox. 20,-- €, but you can surf for 1 hour everyday for free!!! You´ll have your money back within 5 Hours, i.e. 5 Days.
