Staying awhile? You might want to join the local Rudderverein/Rowing Club - Crueznacker Ruderverein - which uses the still waters along the south course of the Nahe river to practise their shells upon. the boathouses are on the east side from the Brueckenhaueser. A German version of the Thames!
Equipment: Get to be a member and you get to use the equipment hoarded in the boathouses.
