The only real "sight" in Kluesserath is the fortress tower of the old "Wasserburg" I guess. It's privately owned though so you can't really tour this building.
Outside you will find the old village well as well as an old tree which was used as a pillory in the good old days ;)

The best thing here was that when we arrived after a walk through the vineyards we were brought into the wine cellar immediately - welcomed with a glass of wine of course ;-)
It was nice because on a hot day it was great to know and to experience that the cellar has a 'natural' constant temperature of 10 degrees, in winter or summer :-)

This village is small but quite long, hence there's a saying 'as long as Kluesserath'. Actually the village only seems to consist of the main street and a few side streets, a church and lots of wineries.
Not much is happening here, I actually didn't even see a supermarket or a shop. But it's very relaxing and apparently the tourists come along with the wine in autumn... I liked it best here in spring though!

This isn't Hollywood but the sign with the (strange) name of one of Kluesserath's vineyards - Kluesserather Bruderschaft.
It's located in the vineyard at one of the little roads that go through it. A nice spot for a cold wine or a view over the river Mosel.

River Mosel ... with wonderful wine & weather
Kluesserath is a tiny village on the banks of the river Mosel. There's not much here but it's heaven for wine lovers. There's vineyards and wineries where you can try the wine everywhere!
