    3.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

Favorite thing: The old Kirschgarten, just off Augustinerstrasse, is one of the most pleasant parts of the old city. Half-timbered houses give it a bit of a "disneyland" feel, but this is a real neighborhood, and businesses that cater to the local community and mixed in with more "touristed" places.

Favorite thing: Just walk throught the downtown ...

Fondest memory: OK, I was there during the World Cup 2002 ... and it was the day Germnany defeated Saudi Arabia 8-0 ... let me say the fondest memory is this always shouting german-footbal-fans packed into pubs & bars to watch the match :-)

    2.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

Favorite thing: There are lots of narrow streets to walk along, to watch, to buy, to have a drink, to take pics.

Fondest memory: So many beautiful houses, also lots of half timbered houses
