    driving to Oberwesel

Driving to Oberwesel is easy : you simply take the main road along the left bank of the river Rhine and you will find lots of parking-spaces along the river. You will be able to park there for free for 2 hours (Kurzparkzone), in case that you have a motorhome you pay 6 euros for 24 hours, BUT this will be next to the trainline and sleeping in your motorhome will almost be impossible there, because heavy trains of 50 or 60 wagons are running there every 20 or 30 minutes day and night !
There are at least a few places where parking is directely at the river and it is a bit less noisy there !
