When in Trier, you must go to the Forum. This one is the most popular club in Trier. It is a dance club that plays hip-hop on friday nights and house on saturday nights.
I recommend friday nights. It gets quite crowded in there.
enjoy

Our guide took us to this place as this was his favorite when he was in town. Our guide was in his upper 30s and enjoyed classic rock/oldies, lounging like atmospheres and people watching... if you're up for that, I'd recommend this place.
This pub is cool. Its a great hang out for ex-pats, exchange students, american military and locals. I enjoyed working here and drinking here!!! :P i miss it!
Go for Kareoke Mondays!!! St Patricks day, and halloween! don't miss it! Alot of live music during the week and on weekends!

Wow! I was surprised to see such a big club in Germany. Most of them are small. The music and crowd was great! You've go to see it. Best Friday night in a while and didn't cost me much. The DJ was from the states!

Whatever you're confortable with and the girls look really good!
This is where you will find the best techno music in Trier. The best days are fridays and saturdays. From one to ten, this club deserves a solid 7. It is alright, but it probably won't be your all-time-favorite.

something decent.........
The typical Irish Pub, in the heart of Trier. If you have the need to show off your Irish accent or the queen's english is calling your name, this is the place for you. There is plenty of Guiness and Kilkenny there for all your buddies, and, by the way, the place is frequented by Americans........

anything goes.......
They are both right in front of the Dom. The Palais is dance club with a rather conventional crowd. It can be considered a hangout for students and young people in general. Try Saturday or Thursday. The Walderdoffs (right next door) attracts a more varied crowd. Both the young and the not so young go party over there......(try it wednesday)
Dress Code:
It's a gamble.... for the Walderdoff's......if you are not a local, dress nice. For the Palais, anything decent will do.....
At the Riverside there are several different rooms so you can have your choice of the type of music you prefer. Of course there is always a techno dance floor, also a hip-hop dance floor, and then a misc. dance floor as well. It is a large dance club and a lot of fun!
Dress Code:
The Riverside doea not have a fancy dresscode but a nice one. You cannot wear hats or tennis shoes for example. Dress nicely and you'll be fine.
