I love Kaufhof! This is a one-stop shopping for me. Here, i can stay the whole day shopping, from clothes and perfumes to groceries and electronics. This place is located at the Simeonstrasse. Very central and cannot be missed.
You can buy almost anything in Kaufhof, but for me, the main attraction are the slashed prices on their perfumes, may it be Sales period or not. Something is always on sale in Kaufhof.

We discovered this store close to their closing time :( This is a superstore where you can find toiletries, make ups groceries, etc. Some are brandnames such as Gucci, Dior, etc. I left my lipstick at home in a hurry that is why i thought i'd buy a cheap emergency lipstick at this store. It was a good color and good sort of glitter. I paid very less. My son told me to buy more because of its cheap price, but i thought, i have enough at home. True enough, when i put it on the following day, i saw that it was really a good one, good quality and good price. Such a pity that i didn't listen. Branded make ups and perfumes were of reasonable prices too! I will surely go back to this store and buy in volume! :D

Can't remember the name of the music shop in Trier, but it was on one of the main streets. Prices are extremely good compared to the UK and the Staff speak Englishand are really helpful. It is filled with recorders and all other sorts of musical goodies - a real Aladins cave. Prices for recorders - all shapes and sizes were a lot cheaper than Salzburg

Very good shop for music instruments of every kind, large bibliotheque of notes, books e.t.c.
You can find everything. The prices are higher than in other parts of Germany.

The "downtown" or the "centre" area of this city is full of stores and shops. Like the title says, this shopping in Trier is supposed to be quite cheap, but i can't really assure that at the moment. I don't have much experience shopping there......
