At this cafe-restaurant right on the beginning of pedestrian zone ppl have their coffee & cake, or dinner, or just a famous Bitburger Beer. I wrote about this lovely Bitburg place earlier when I made it there back in 2005. Unfortunately the restaurant's ground floor is left for smokers, so non-smokers have to make their way from cafe's front door through heavy smoke up stairs to get to the lovely seats.

I love all the things my father prepares on the barbeque. And my mother makes excellent salads. It is a great fun for me to be there and just sit down and eat all the delicous dishes.

When I visited the restaurant this year, we ate in the garden. It was so hot, so I took the salad with some grilled meat. They have also some dishes for vegetarians.
