TRAINS: Depart Frankfurt at frequent intervals for Mainz, where you change for Worms. The total journey takes up to 90 minutes. Return service operates until mid-evening. Be sure to check the schedule as there are other possible routes.
CAR: Worms is about 50 miles southwest of Frankfurt. Take the A-5 Autobahn, the switch to the A-67 and head south to the Lorsch exit. From there the B-47 road leads into Worms.

Worms is off the main train lines, and the only trains passing through are the horribly slow Regional Bahns, and a Regional Express if you are lucky. Worms is on the Mainz-Mannheim line, and about 40 minutes from Mainz and 30 from Mannheim.

The station is just outside the city centre, well sinposted to the Dom. On the line between Mannheim and Mainz (easy from Frankfurt airport too!). If you miss your train there's a friendly little bar there too for a quick beer while you wait for the next one, not a good day transport wise!!!
