Zell, my love's hometown is a lovely small city.
I like the view along the Mosel river: Beautiful streets, passing boats, black cat, grape farms. Take a walk along the river and sit down for a while viewing, the air is sweet~

In Erlebnisbad Zeller land just with one ticket you can use all equipments: solarum, sauna, dampfbad and swimmingpool for one day long. It's like spa theme park and make great fun.

The Mosel river valley is the origin of German good white wine. At the two sides of the valley you can see hundred tausend of grape trees. I have never seen many grape trees in my life.
Every town/city in the region has its own brand wine. Zell/Mosel is no exception. Its brand name is lovely called "Black Cat". The picture on its bottle is stylish and a chain of plastic black cat (made by Zeller-Plastik, a local huge plastic manufacturer) is included as an unique decoration.

Red & white coffee house stands along the Mosel river. We sat at window and viewed the river and the street from the other side. It's where one spends little, but can relax a lot.

We both like Kaese-Sahne Kuchen (cheese-cream cake). It's a big piece. The cream is fine and soft, not very sweet. Delicious!

The beer garden is stylish. It was railway station.
Favorite Dish: I tried general ice cream with vanila, chocolate and stawberry. However, personly I like Bitburger beer more which is common in this area. Its origin is Bitburger near Trier. The beer has strong bitter taste, but surprisely it's very tasty. I feel it traditional, simple and German.

Zell-Barl has a big shopping area. Many people come to purchase daily stuffs. Comparing with Aldi, Lidl and DM, the Globus is the biggest supermarkt. It's so huge and that takes you many hours to finish the visit.
What to buy: My ideal shopping list:
Alchohol: Zell black cat wine, Bitburger
Dessert: Mozart Kugel, Lindt, Bounty Coco, Haribo Gummi Bear
Jogurt: various kinds.
Bra, Bikini, ear-rings
Post-Cards
etc.

Favorite thing: Black Cat is the symbol of Zell city. In the city center stands a statue of black cat in fountain.
The cat looks aggresive with hanging tail and showing sharp teeth. Meow meow, as tourist it's where you must take a picture.
