Galerie Roter Turm is a shopping mall located in the city centre. Apart from the usual bunch of shops (clothing: H&M, Lacoste, Xanaka..., books: Thalia, electronics: Saturn, mobile phones, flowers, tea...) there's a cinema centre on the top floor.
Galerie Roter Turm often hosts exhibitions of the most different kinds. There have been normal ones displaying photography, rather unusual ones displaying vintage cars and motorbikes and really unusual ones displaying plastic dinosaurs or living tropical insects!
What to buy: If you like tea, check out the large selection of the tea shop. Thalia, a book shop, is a huge shop where you can get nearly every book. Upstairs there's a resting area in which you can pre-read the books. Saturn covers every wish in terms of electronic devices and media.
What to pay: the same as everywhere in German cities
