Germany's second longest river Elbe offers beautiful cycle, walking and rollerblading trails along its banks. If you are planning to rollerblade, try out the roads on the Old Town side of the river because the road is smoother and skating more pleasant. However, walking and cycling is fine on both sides of the river. Leave a Comment Theme: BikingAddress: On the banks of the Elbe river

Eurospeedway Lausitz by Antji Eurospeedway or Lausitzring (both names are used) is 50 km north of Dresden near from the city Senftenberg and Schipkau. Itī s directly on the Highway A 13 in direction of Berlin. You have to leave the Highway at Klettwitz. The Opening was in August 2000. Itīs a racetrack and testing area of 357 ha. There are a lotīs of events - not only races. So sometimes there are concerts of bands or is Nightskating. I never tried Inlineskating there before - but it must be fun and I should try it. But sometimes I work in the Vip Lounge during races and itīs nice to meet some important people.;) If you wanna know more take a look at www.eurospeedway.de Leave a Comment

tower of the Dresden cathedral by Madschick It is tini58de's and my hobby to climb up towers to enjoy the view from the top. This is usually rather "breathtaking" and not always enjoyable for people who have a certain fear of heights, but in the end it is always THE highlight of the day! Try it yourself and you will hopefully enjoy it as much as we did! Leave a Comment Theme: Climbing

Saxonian Switzerland by Madschick Saxonian Switzerland is only a short trainride away from Dresden. There are the most wonderful rock formations and great paths for enjoyable walking tours! One of the best ways to recover from a strenuous fleamarket morning..... Leave a Comment Theme: Hiking

Dynamo Dresden by William1982 Dynamo Dresden were one of the most successful teams in the former GDR. Dynamo won their first title in 1953 and have since won 8 titles, including the last 2 (1989, 1990) before unification. They also amassed 7 cups during this time. Uniting with West German football to form the Bundesliga, Dynamo survived a couple of years before being relegated to the regionalliga for financial irregularities. Dynamo have since failed to recapture their former glories, currently playing in the 4. Liga. Famous players to have worn the jersey are Ulf Kirsten and Matthaus Sammer, who also captained the unified German football team. Rudolf-Harbig-Stadion. Capacity: 30,000 (10,521 seats).
