The rabbits couped up behind Doreen's parents' house were just gorgeous in the morning light and a pleasant way to start my day on the way to breakfast. I always muttered, 'lunch,' as we walked back to our flat after we ate, but was careful not to mention it to Doreen's mother as when I casually mentioned I loved duck, one was promptly slaughtered for that evening's dinner. It was great as I am sure the rabbit would have been.
