The Taj Mahal was suggested by my hosts who had eaten there on several earlier occasions. It is a little out of the way place in Buckau, a small suburb of Magdeburg.
We went on a mid-week night and it was very quiet. There was plenty of seating available and booking wasn't necessary.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, even when we accidentally knocked over the decorative oil lamp on our table and had to have the table cloth changed!
Favorite Dish: I had a vegetable kebab with a mango sauce followed by a fruit yogurt drink. It was a lovely meal and the schnaps at the end went down very well too!

This is surely the cheapest restaurant in town. I had a complete meal plus one drink for € 4.00. You also can have a meal for € 1.90 only. The service is excellent and the meal was delicious!
